100% of Anthropic's Code is Written by Claude
Mike Codeur

"100% of Anthropic's code is written by Claude." Their CPO said it. Devs at Anthropic don't code anymore. They review.
If the company that builds the AI doesn't code itself anymore, what's left for us?
What AI can't do: decide what to build, challenge an architecture, say "no, this approach won't hold in production", prioritize when everything is urgent.
The developer who writes code 8 hours a day is losing value. The one who understands code, challenges it, and steers it is gaining value.
The job isn't disappearing. It's mutating:
- Dev → Tech Lead
- Coder → Reviewer
- Executor → Architect
- The one who writes → The one who thinks
The real question isn't "will AI replace me?" It's "am I ready to change roles?"
